OOTD: Spa attire

Ecstatic that we are able to wear full black at work now. The uniforms before were heinous. Luckily, throughout my ten years in the professional world, I have accumulated tons of dresses- with black being the favored color. I picked up seven dresses from my storage unit and left them at work. I'll be all about that LBD life. Here's the first.

OOTD: Casually sneaking graphics into the office.

I decided to wear my reasonably priced v-neck to the office with the new boyfriend cardigan I scored in my last Ridiculous Deal.

'Back to the Future' V-neck ($6 USD, Target), jeans ($16 USD, David Bitton @ Marshall's- I've had these pants since high school.), wedges ($26 USD, Steve Madden), cardigan ($6 USD, Target)

OOTD: Lounge Attire.

Since my friend's birthday falls on this weekend, she rounded up the troops so that we could partake in a night of dancing and drinks at her favorite lounge in Miami Beach. The lucky thing about Miami is when everyone else is pulling on sweaters because October temperature drop significantly, I'm out on a Saturday night trying not to sweat to death in jeans.

Urban Decay Vice 2 strikes again on eyelids. Lips are done up in Sephora lipcolor.
Top ($14, Jessica Simpson @ Macy's), Pants, ($24, XOXO @ Macy's)

OOTD: Jacquard Pants

As every other time that I've purchased a next article of clothing, I get so excited to wear it that I make plans to wear it the next day- this time being no exception.

Wore this to church (yes, mine is super progressive- no sinner sweater necessary) and was pretty comfortable overall.

Vest ($7, Forever XXI), Pants ($24, XOXO @ Macy's), Wedges ($17, Aldo)
Barrette ($2.50, Icing), Necklace ($4.50, 5•7•9), Lipgloss ($7, Maybelline Colorshow)

OOTD: Sheer Fishtail

Bought this shirt from Cotton On for $5 and finally found a way to wear it to the office.

Made use of the Vice 2 (Urban Decay) on eyes.

OOTD: Trip Home

For the trip home I figured that yoga pants would be rather appropriate but didn't want to go too bummy. So I opted for yoga capris.

I've always felt banned from the whole bandeau movement- due to the size of my jugs- but when Body Central handed me two free ones with my purchase I figured what the hell, why not see what all the fuss is about. The $4.00 shirt that I wore them with wasn't half bad. It was a large but with shirts like that I really don't think it matters what size the over shirt is.

Top (Body Central, $4.00), bandeau ($4.00), capris (Target, $14.00), flats (not shown, Melissa+Campana, $80.00)

OOTD: Disney park attire

Who says I can't go into Disney with something that is so cute despite its comfort? Here's what I wore on vacation over the weekend.

Top (Express, $30), Shorts (Ross), Flats (Melissa+Campana, $80), Weekender Bag (Michael Kors, $235)

OOTD: Paris Baby Shower

My sister, who is expecting a darling baby girl in December, is having a Paris themed baby shower. My first thought upon hearing the theme is what could be more fitting than commemorating the high fashion that is synonymous with the city? The shower is not for a couple of weeks but while out shopping with a friend last week, I realized that since I'm most of the coordination for her (The Pint Sized Planner) that I should really grab a few options to wear in case things get super hectic.

This look is more of a casual Parisian Cafe look. The short hair will go great with it- frilly blousey tank with wide-legged chambray pants. They need to be hemmed though.

Update: I did a test run with this shirt and the straps kept slipping off my shoulders. I will have to completely repair the straps in a bra like fashion (adjustable straps) if I chose to wear this tank.
Another casual look- one might wearthis while out shopping the Parisian streets for more high fashion additions to her collection. Perhaps I should wear booties with this.

OOTD: Winter: ugly sweater season that makes finding a blazer implausible but not impossible.

For the holiday season it was a bit chilly (here meaning 50°F instead of Miami's usual 70°F this time of year.)
However, for some reason, at this time of year, every other major company (yes, Target, I'm talking to you) thinks that providing a variety of hideous cableknit sweaters to drown in constitutes as legitimate winter fashion. I don't think so.
I went on the hunt... Looking for exactly what I found...  My diamond in the rough. A funky black blazer versatile enough to wear with tights, slacks, jeans & dresses. The material is what throws me the most- its a soft sweaterlike material. The buttons have a brushed gold finish & faux pockets. Marshall's surprised me with this one... I usually am warded off from converting to a usual customer by their prices but at $17 USD, I figured it was a worthy investment.
Yes!

OOTD: New York & Blazers... Automatically synonymous

The feather earrings were a fun touch to bring out the color in the graphic tee. I chose to pair a v-neck with my blazer because in all honesty, I felt as if I was neglecting my graphic tee collection that I was so into. Why not smuggle them into the office under a blazer?

Tee: American Eagle, Blazer: Marshall's, Jeggings: Walmart, Wedges: Erge Footwear.

OOTD: She said my shirt was scandalous

Give me lace any day & I'll die happy. Especially a versatile piece like this. I saw it in Macy's & thought it would be a cute addition to my wardrobe as I could wear it on both the hottest & coldest day of the year. Plus, it fits the bill for my racerback fetish and it would triple as lingerie. The challenge was to wear it to work and get away with it. I almost got away with it. So I brought out my trusty infamous black cardigan, undeniably the best $13 I ever spent in any Target store. That covered the goods to a certain extent which was pretty awesome. I paired it with black skinny pants & nude pumps as well for a romantic feel & here we are. Ash, a friend of mine saw the true nature of my tank on lunch break & she said my shirt was scandalous. I prefer Risque.

OOTD: Good girl v. Bad bitch

Vamped up pinup girl with a razor sharp edge. More of that, please. I love wearing things just for the sake of being outrageously pretty & ridiculously vain. How's that for a modest opening? I love days when I bring a polished look to the outfit of a bad girl. This fusion is one of my favorites. Bad bitch elements include faux gauge nail earrings (hot topic), tease me w kisses tee (plato's closet), skintight stovepipe jeans (pac sun) & sky high pumps with metal detailing (charlotte russe). Classic elements are the red lipstick suitable for a '50s housewife (infallible), ponytail with pinned bangs & cardigan (target). Love this look.

OOTD: All Aboard!

My fascination with the pinup image boggles me. As I've said on previous occasion, rouge lips, pinned back curls , black cateye liner & all fashion referencing 1920-1959 is the f*cking bees knees. Give me pearls, a-lines & pumps any day & I will die happy. I wore this outfit to work ... I'd recently lost some weight & had been dying to wear this vest for Months. Pairing it with red lips & the slimmest for jeans I own (a pair of david bitton jeans I've had a relationship with since high school) I finished the look off with a very feminine blouse with puffed sleeves & ankle boots that most certainly kick ass.

OOTD: Spin on a blazer & pumps

I love tee shirts & tanks. Seriously I love wearing them all the time.. Even on a Monday morning to work. This is how I do it.
