#Ridiculous Deal: Julep Maven Box

I just got my Julep Maven box in the mail today. I got it from Wrapp, an iPhone app my sister insisted that I download to send her free gift cards. The special was a free maven box and the only thing required was shipping and handling- only $3 USD. The Maven box is without a doubt, attempting to compete with BirchBox- a monthly subscription that sends out beauty products. I, of course, had to try.  

Of all the descriptions listed (below) ...

...when I did my Beauty Bio I was branded as "classic with a twist" which confused me at first because I usually don't dress that way, but I realized that makeup-wise, I'm a sucker for a cat-eye with red lips. 

The box included this serum which I'll be reviewing shortly. 

It's pretty hydrating. My cuticles look significantly healthier.
