#Rave: BCBG Make Your Own #MYO bracelet

Okay so I've posted a personalizable charm bracelet before but this one is the one I've been wanting of a while. The concept is one I embrace- let the people do whatever they want. I love when they cut out half of the work fore by making it customizable up front. Bravo, BCBC.

Macy's and I, in all our love, just had a 5 year anniversary and they sent me a $10 gift card. I shopped around and decided to spend the money getting something that I wanted forever (sandlot voice: for ev er.  For ev er.) and realized that I truly wanted this awesome quality hematite bracelet but was unwilling to pay them $25USD for it. Since I received my golden $10 ticket I figured that I should get it while they're still in stock. I'm glad I did. This was the last one at my local Macy's. It is also no longer available on the website. I may buy the black one (seen below) as well if they ever drop the price.

OOTD: Lounge Attire.

Since my friend's birthday falls on this weekend, she rounded up the troops so that we could partake in a night of dancing and drinks at her favorite lounge in Miami Beach. The lucky thing about Miami is when everyone else is pulling on sweaters because October temperature drop significantly, I'm out on a Saturday night trying not to sweat to death in jeans.

Urban Decay Vice 2 strikes again on eyelids. Lips are done up in Sephora lipcolor.

As every other time that I've purchased a next article of clothing, I get so excited to wear it that I make plans to wear it the next day- this time being no exception. 

Wore this to church (yes, mine is super progressive- no sinner sweater necessary) and was pretty comfortable overall.

The arrival of holiday makeup combo kits in  local mall was more than I could bear during my lunch break today in my local mall. I went to Sephora which really didn't have much. Walking back to my car, I passed through Macy's and lost it when I realized what time it was. Literally freaked out in the middle of the cosmetics section. Many are already on board for Holiday Season 2013 but others are dragging their feet.

Among those I saw today, SmashBox, Urban Decay, Bare Minerals & Benefit have gotten with the program.  

Urban Decay has snuck this under the radar. I'm usually on top of their new releases. I've failed as a human. 😭

Bare Minerals simply went nuts. 

  

Benefit had something available in each price range. 

 

 

 

 

SmashBox had amazing combos that I am almost certain that I'll be purchasing. 

 

 

OOTD: Changing it up with some boots

I'm on vacation in Orlando & like an idiot, packed one of my black boots. So the second night I was here, a cold front had me looking through my suitcases frantically for my boots, upon which I could only find one foot & had to buy another pair of boots to protect my feet from that weather. This photo was actually taken in Miami (I had to go home for a night to take care of some things) & I decided to switch it up from the usual uniform of sandals & it made the difference. Apparently, boots change an entire outfit.

Everyone on Fashism.com was bagging on how I put a dark top with this skirt & I must admit, I like this look a LOT better.
